The Citizen's Empowerment Center
in Israel (CECI) is a non- profit, non-political center founded
by
concerned Israeli who aim to:
 |
Inform the Israeli public of their
rights and duties, and educate them about an effective
government and representative democratic system. |

 |
It will be up to the Israeli citizens
to perfect the system. |
 |
Education leads to strength, strength
leads to stability. |

1. To transform CECI into the foremost authority in the nation
in the field of empowerment & democratic education.
2. To initiate and establish learning centers for the purpose
of education and research in governance and voting systems.
The Israeli system of proportional representation results in
at least 10 parties composing any Knesset (Israeli Parliament).
Never have the leading parties been able to secure a majority
in the Knesset.
Accordingly, the governing parties have consistently been forced
to form precarious coalitions with smaller parties.
The internal conflicts that inevitably arise between coalition
partners make for ineffective and indecisive governments that
are constantly threatened by collapse.
